Technician - Help Desk

We’re looking for a personable, resourceful, and motivated Help Desk Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the first line of support for our clients — resolving technical issues, providing clear communication, and ensuring that systems run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving and enjoys helping people succeed with technology. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation to assist users in resolving issues effectively. This is a hybrid position with some onsite client visits required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support via phone, email, in-person and remote tools for desktops, laptops, printers, and software applications
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; escalate when necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance and system updates
  • Document support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and setting up user accounts, devices, and permissions
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role (MSPs or law firm experience a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office 365 environments
  • Knowledge of Mac a plus
  • Familiarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A+ or other technical certifications preferred, but not required
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Familiarity with Kaseya/Datto tools preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
