We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Technician (Science) to join our Academic Support Unit (ASU) at UniSC. This role plays a vital part in supporting high quality laboratory based teaching programs, including the newly established Medical Laboratory Science (Pathology) program.
Working within the Technical Operations team, you'll provide hands on technical expertise to ensure the smooth preparation, delivery, and maintenance of laboratory classes and associated facilities. You'll also contribute to the development of new techniques and support safe, compliant, and effective laboratory operations that enhance the learning experience for students and staff alike.
You willYou are a technically skilled and organised professional who enjoys working in a practical, hands on environment. You bring a proactive approach to problem solving and take pride in contributing to high quality teaching experiences for students. Known for your reliability and attention to detail, you communicate effectively with both academic and professional colleagues and demonstrate a strong commitment to safe and compliant laboratory practices.
