Techno Commercial Sales (Biopolymer & Sustainable Packaging Materials)

EnvoPAP is looking to hire a Techno-Commercial Sales Associate with a strong understanding of biopolymers, sustainable materials, and packaging applications. This role sits at the intersection of technical knowledge and commercial sales, working closely with clients, production teams, and R&D to deliver the right sustainable material solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Techno-Commercial Sales

  • Drive B2B sales of biopolymer-based and sustainable packaging materials
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable material grades, specifications, and applications
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and costing sheets
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams for order execution

Client & Market Engagement

  • Engage with packaging buyers, procurement heads, sustainability managers, and brand owners
  • Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients
  • Identify new business opportunities across FMCG, food service, QSR, retail, and industrial packaging
  • Build long-term client relationships and manage key accounts

Technical Support & Documentation

  • Support clients with material selection, testing feedback, and compliance requirements
  • Assist in preparing technical data sheets, certifications, and sustainability documentation
  • Stay updated on biopolymers, compostable materials, barrier coatings, and regulatory standards

Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor products, pricing, and material innovations
  • Share insights on customer feedback, market demand, and emerging sustainability trends

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Packaging Technology, or related field
  • An MBA or sales-oriented qualification is a plus (not mandatory)

Experience

  • 1–4 years of experience in techno-commercial sales, preferably in
  • Biopolymers
  • Sustainable packaging
  • Speciality paper or polymer materials
  • Freshers with strong technical understanding and sales aptitude may also apply

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of biopolymers, sustainable materials, and packaging applications
  • Ability to translate technical specs into commercial value propositions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfort with B2B sales cycles and client-facing roles
  • Basic knowledge of pricing, margins, and costing
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
