Technology & Data Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-centric Technology & Data Specialist. This position will bridge the gap between technology strategy and business intelligence. They manage, analyze, and secure data systems while designing and/or optimizing database architectures. They translate complex datasets into actionable insights, helping organizations optimize technology infrastructure, automate data workflows, and drive informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience working with large data sets, a passion for real estate information systems, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities Includes

  • Experience interacting with various APIs to design and create different data set architectures.
  • Interpret data and load it for analytics and creation of interactive dashboards and visual reports to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Writing scripts and automation suites using programming languages like Python, SQL, or R.
  • Research and recommend new technologies that will strengthen the company’s strategic direction.
  • Assess current integrations, workflows, and develop a phased modernization plan with new technology.
  • Research tools to automate repetitive work (e.g., ticket routing, customer onboarding, etc.) using AI resources.
  • Anticipate technology trends and incorporate into product offerings and company strategy.
  • Assess current tools, integrations, workflows, and develop a phased modernization plan with new technology.
  • If necessary, evaluate 3rd party vendors and solutions, understand configurations of the systems, manage rollout, and follow up on adoption/training.
  • Special projects as assigned by the CEO or COO.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with databases and developing database systems.
  • Experience with AI technology and MCP servers.
  • Interest in data and its effective management and utilization.
  • Work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiar with programming languages like Python, SQL, or R.
  • Experience with workflow automation software platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate.
