We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Information Technology to lead and manage our IT operations, infrastructure, and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee PHP-based in-house software, pfSense firewall and network security, PDF/document servers, multiple AI projects, and the network department, ensuring system reliability, security, and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development, AI, network, and IT support teams.
• Oversee development, maintenance, and performance of PHP-based in-house applications.
• Manage IT infrastructure, servers, and network operations, including pfSense firewall and VPNs.
• Ensure high availability, security, backups, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Drive AI and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and innovation.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with management and departments to align IT strategy with business goals.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, assets, and cost optimization initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Maintain ≥ 99.5% uptime for critical systems and applications.
• Deliver 90%+ planned software releases on schedule.
• Ensure zero major security breaches and timely resolution of vulnerabilities.
• Achieve ≥ 98% successful backup and recovery rate.
• Deliver 85%+ AI projects as per approved roadmap.
• Meet defined IT support SLAs with high user satisfaction (≥ 85%).
• Keep IT budget variance within ±5% of approved limits.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership or managerial role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of PHP-based applications and database systems.
• Experience with pfSense firewall, network security, and server management.
• Understanding of AI/automation technologies and modern IT architectures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing in-house enterprise software systems.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, ITIL, CEH, or cloud-related certifications.
• Strong background in Linux servers, virtualization, and system monitoring tools.
