We are looking for a Technology Recruiter to be the architect of our new Engineer and Data departments. You won't just be filling seats; you will be hand-selecting talent that modernizes our technology stack and reshapes our future. - Engineering Department Build-Out: Partner directly with the CTO and VP of Engineering to define hiring roadmaps, draft technical job descriptions, and scale the software engineering and data management teams.
- Full-Lifecycle Technical Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end process for specialized roles, including Backend/Frontend Engineers, Data Architects, Analysts, and DevOps.
- Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management: Lead internal sourcing efforts while managing relationships with external executive search firms and niche agencies to ensure a consistent talent pipeline.
- Cross-Functional Hiring: Facilitate placements across broader corporate functions (Operations, Risk, Compliance) to ensure a cohesive onboarding experience for all new hires.
- Process Optimization: Design and implement a scalable interview process that includes technical assessments and cultural fit evaluations.
- Candidate Experience & Onboarding: Act as the primary brand ambassador, ensuring a seamless transition from the first outreach to the first day on the job.
- The Industry Expert: You have 5+ years of experience in internal recruiting, specifically within Consumer Finance (Auto Finance experience is a major plus). You understand the regulatory landscape and the specific challenges of the lending industry.
- The Technical Gatekeeper: You are comfortable reviewing resumes for complex engineering and data management roles. You know the difference between a Data Engineer and a Data Scientist and can vet candidates for technical aptitude and "turnaround" mindset.
- The Relationship Builder: You have a proven track record of managing both internal stakeholders and external recruiting partners.
- The Strategist: don't just "post and pray." You use data-driven sourcing techniques to find passive talent in a competitive market.
- 5+ years of corporate/internal technical recruiting experience.
- Direct experience in the Auto Finance or Fintech industry.
- Proven ability to build technical departments (Engineering, Data Science, etc.) from early-stage to maturity.
- Expertise in ATS management, LinkedIn Recruiter, and technical sourcing tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite leadership.
- Location: This role offers a hybrid work schedule and is preferred for candidates based in or willing to commute to our offices in Tempe, AZ, or Coppell, TX.
