Summary

We are seeking a passionate Teacher to join our team at Substitute Teacher Service in the West Shore SD. This role is vital in delivering quality education and support to students in various school districts, ensuring that learning continues seamlessly in the absence of regular educators.
Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons that align with district curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs.
• Provide feedback on student progress and classroom activities.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials as needed.
• Support students' academic and emotional needs during their learning journey.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
• Proven experience in teaching or working with students (required).
• Strong classroom management skills (required).
• Excellent communication skills (required).
• Familiarity with lesson planning and curriculum development (preferred).
• Experience in special education settings (preferred).
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners (preferred).
• Certification or licensure as a teacher (preferred).
