About the Role:

Skilled and reliable Tekla Modeler who has strong experience in structural and steel detailing using Tekla Structures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 3D models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, and piece part drawings for steel fabrication and erection.

You should be confident in handling the complete modeling and detailing workflow in Tekla — from interpreting design drawings to producing fabrication-ready deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate 3D Tekla models of Miscellaneous Metal items based on design drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Generate shop drawings, assembly drawings, and piece part drawings for Metal staircase, SS handrails, Guardrails, Bridge Railings, Pedestrian Fencing, Chainlink Fencing directly from the Tekla model.
• Create and manage GA (General Arrangement) drawings for review and coordination.
• AutoCAD knowledge for producing high-quality, submission-ready Tekla files
• Ensure all drawings and models comply with fabrication standards such as - International Building Code (IBC), AISC – American Institute of Steel Construction, AWS – American Welding Society, ASTM Standards for Misc. Metals, and project specifications.
• Manage revisions, updates, RFI Knowledge and modifications as projects progress.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Perform clash detection and ensure all components fit together accurately before fabrication.
• Maintain organized model data and drawing files for documentation and tracking.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Tekla Modeler / Detailer, preferably in steel or structural projects.
• Strong understanding of Tekla Structures software (modeling, drawing production, and customization).
• Knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and quality control skills.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with connection detailing and fabrication standards.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination with other trades.
• Experience with drawing templates, reports, and custom components in Tekla.

Education:

• Diploma or degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory if experience is strong).

Pay: ₹19,845.20 - ₹68,676.02 per month

Work Location: In person
