We are looking for a Telecommunications Sales Consultant to assist in outreach, sales growth, and customer satisfaction in the Meriden, CT region. Through in-person conversations with homeowners, you will inform, support, and recommend telecommunications solutions and assist customers in the sales process. The Telecommunications Sales Consultant is a collaborative role that works with client, sales, and coordination teams to ensure a smooth sales plan for client objectives.

Telecommunications Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strong sales results by meeting directly with homeowners to introduce new client products and services in the area
  • Identify customer needs and align them with applicable solutions to maximize customer value and satisfaction
  • Participate in continuous learning to remain current with client products, industry developments, and regional trends
  • Accurately detail enrollment and sales transactions to ensure proper access to new accounts and timely follow-ups to confirm service
  • Ensure proper communication between the Telecommunications Sales Consultant team and client representatives to consistently improve sales strategy
  • Provide excellent customer service and answer any inquiries by combining proper knowledge of client systems with an understanding of customer expectations

Qualifications for the Telecommunications Sales Consultant:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, client relations, sales, retail, or a similar people-facing role
  • Coursework in Business, Sales, Operations, Communications, Economics, or related fields is preferred
  • Excellent time-management skills and reliability both individually and within a team
  • Comfortable, professional communication skills
  • The ability to quickly problem-solve and accurately answer customer questions
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications, wireless, or internet
  • Proven ability to adhere to client and company protocol to protect customer assurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
