Job Summary

The Telehandler Operator is responsible for safely operating telescopic handlers to lift, move, and place materials on construction or industrial sites. The role requires strict compliance with UAE safety regulations, site procedures, and equipment operating standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate telehandlers to lift, transport, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Ensure safe load limits, stability, and correct use of attachments
• Follow site safety rules, method statements, and risk assessments
• Communicate clearly with banksmen, supervisors, and site teams
• Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times
• Report mechanical issues, safety hazards, or incidents immediately
• Assist with general site duties when required

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Telehandler Operator License (UAE-approved or internationally recognized)
• Minimum 2–5 years experience operating telehandlers (UAE experience preferred)
• Knowledge of UAE construction safety standards and HSE practices
• Ability to read and understand load charts and safety manuals
• Physically fit and able to work long hours in hot weather
• Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)

Preferred Certifications

• Third Party Operator Certification (Abu Dhabi / Dubai approved)
• CSCS / CPCS / NPORS (if applicable and transferable)
• HSE / Safety Training Certificate
