Telemarketing Assistant

Overview
We are a commercial insurance brokerage aiming to serve clients in California, Texas, and more states. We specialize in contractors insurance policies. In this role you will be making cold calls asking potential customers if they would like to receive market summaries for their workers comp insurance policies when they are set to expire.

Join our team as a Telemarketing Assistant and become a vital driver of our business development efforts! In this role, you will engage with potential clients through outbound calls otherwise known as cold calling.

**This is a performance based position where you are paid per lead ($20/per lead). The expectation is 1 lead per hour of calling. **

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound cold calling campaigns to prospective clients
• Input correct information into Jotform to ensure we have necessary information for quoting
• Take detailed notes from your conversations so our agent is able to follow up with the correct people
• Be professional and respectful regardless of the behavior of the person on the other end of the line

Expectations

• Call at least 3 hours a day, Monday - Friday
• 40-50 calls per hour/150-200 call per day (these numbers would be lower if you are having conversations and getting leads)
• No calling before 8am PST. Ideal calling window is between 8-12 PST

Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a flexible, part time opportunity. This would be ideal for college students interested in sales and marketing or college students looking for part-time work, a stay at home mom, a retiree, or a young adult interested in getting their feet wet in sales.

We have had several telemarketing assistant transition into our agency as agents so if you are interested in insurance sales, but would like to get your feet wet first then this could be a great fit.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per month
