POSITION OVERVIEW:

Develop and validate telematics systems and features from concept through launch, including vehicle and software testing. Execute system-level tests on vehicles, test benches, and mobile platforms (iOS and Android), including smoke, functional, and regression testing across staging and production environments. Analyze and resolve issues in collaboration with developers, design teams, and cloud component teams to optimize system performance. Create system test plans based on technical specifications and standards, and perform diagnostics using Android profiling tools and embedded system protocols such as CAN Bus and GPS. Support the integration and testing of connected vehicle features such as Bluelink, MyHyundai app, Vehicle Health Alerts, Valet Mode, Feature on Demand, and Alexa integration. Flash and update ECUs, provision telematics components, and troubleshoot using JIRA and other project management tools. Utilize knowledge of microcontroller programming, cellular networks, and Bluetooth protocols to support feature development in infotainment and telematics systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronic Engineering, or a closely related field, and 1 year of experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position requires occasional or frequent moderate physical activity.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

A typical work week is 40 hours/week.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.

Shop or laboratory work involves some exposure to moderate risk of accident and requires following basic safety precautions.

In-field, PG, or track testing involves frequent exposure to unpleasant elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, chemicals, etc.

Stress may occur periodically.
