VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Telemedicine Weight Loss Consults

• Ideally, we are looking for a Physician who holds all state licenses listed above or has some of those listed and has active IMLC and willing to obtain the others. Best suited candidates are BC/BE EM, FM, and IM, physicians with primary care, urgent care or ER experience.
• Shifts: Looking for approximately 2 days per week for patients to schedule consults within licensed states; Scheduling is provided based on availability for 4-5 hour blocks of time. Clinician schedule is open when availability matches staffing needs.
• Start Date: Pending Privileges
• End Date: TBD, 1 year contract periods with available extensions

Description:
Physician will do consults for weight loss. The consult lasts about 15-20 minutes approximately. VHS staff will get the patient on the zoom, do the intake, prepare the note for the clinician, then remote the clinician in when ready. Once the clinician is done, they complete the basic note (approve the RX and select the starting dose) and add any pertinent information they want to add that s not prefilled for them. That is the extent of the duties per visit. Following that our staff re-joins the call and completes the remainder of the paperwork and process.

The clinician needs a viable laptop that can support zoom and the EMR. We just ask that the clinician be in a controlled environment - not the car, etc.
$35.00 per consult (depending on efficiency 3-4 consults can be seen per hr).
