We are seeking a TeleOps Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of an autonomous vehicle fleet. This role serves as the critical human connection between advanced autonomous technology and real-world driving situations, helping ensure vehicles operate safely and effectively.
The ideal candidate is technically inclined, highly attentive, and able to make sound decisions under pressure. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of autonomous mobility technology while contributing to the future of transportation.
You must be able to pass 4 tests which include: Typing (minimum 45 wpm) Stroop Test, Traffic Light Test, and Aim Test. These tests will be proctored and candidate must pass ALL tests to move forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor a fleet of autonomous vehicles in real time and provide remote guidance when necessary
- Safely assist with vehicle operations during complex or unusual driving scenarios while following established safety protocols
- Support operational excellence by identifying, documenting, and reporting vehicle performance observations
- Gather and track performance metrics to help improve system functionality and efficiency
- Provide feedback on TeleOperations tools, workflows, and operator interfaces to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes and user experience
- Maintain compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Excellent driving record and clean background history
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, technical support, software testing, or a related field
- Comfortable working with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Basic understanding of quality assurance (QA) testing principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in quality assurance testing or autonomous vehicle operations
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Familiarity with data analysis and performance metrics reporting
- Experience using simulation software, gaming systems, or video game-style controls
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
