A Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales over the phone by contacting potential or existing customers. The role involves understanding customer needs, pitching products or services, handling objections, and closing sales. The goal is to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound & Inbound Calls
Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce and sell products/services.
Follow a call script, but adapt it based on the conversation with customers.
Identify potential customers and qualify leads by assessing their needs.
Sales Conversion
Present product/service benefits clearly and persuasively.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with customers for repeat business.
Provide feedback to the team about market trends or customer concerns.
Data Entry & Reporting
Maintain and update customer information and interaction details in the CRM.
Generate regular reports on call activity, sales, and performance metrics.
Use CRM data to identify opportunities (e.g., lapsed customers) and plan follow-up.
Achieve Targets & KPIs
Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets (calls, conversions, revenue).
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in telesales, telecalling, or a similar sales/customer-service role. E
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills.
Good organisational and time-management abilities (handling leads, follow-ups).
Comfortable working with CRM software and managing call data.
Ability to handle rejection and remain resilient.
Target-driven mindset with a results-oriented approach.
Fluency in Tamil, Telegu ,Malayalam, hindi language, depending on customer base.
Working Conditions
Office-based (call center) or hybrid/remote, depending on company setup.
High-volume calling environment; performance regularly monitored via KPIs.
