Telesales / Inside Sales Representative
Job Summary
Know and comply with the sales cycle while meeting established annual objectives and goals. This role is primarily responsible for generating new business opportunities through cold calling, outbound prospecting, lead generation, follow-up, and remote sales meetings. The Telesales Representative will identify potential clients, qualify leads, nurture prospects, maintain existing customer relationships, and present technology solutions that help clients achieve their business goals and support revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve the Puerto Rico market as the primary market, with the U.S. market as secondary.
- Conduct outbound cold calls and follow-up calls to prospective clients daily.
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, networking, and database follow-up.
- Identify, qualify, and develop leads into sales opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct remote sales meetings and presentations with prospects and clients.
- Identify client needs and present technology solutions aligned with business challenges and opportunities.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to support retention and upselling opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competition to identify new leads and sales opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and regular sales activity reports.
- Update prospecting activity, call outcomes, follow-ups, and pipeline status in internal records or CRM tools.
Qualifications
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of the sales cycle, customer service, and outbound sales processes.
- Strong experience in cold calling, prospecting, lead generation, and appointment setting.
- Adept at consultative selling techniques and qualifying business opportunities.
- Persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with decision-makers and handling objections professionally.
- Independent, self-motivated, competitive, and assertive.
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, outbound sales, lead generation, or direct sales to clients.
- Experience in technology solutions sales is preferred but not required.
- Experience in cold calling and business development prospecting is strongly preferred.
Education
- College degree preferred (Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field).
Salary Range
- Base Salary plus Commissions (PR/USA)
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
