Teller

Mountain Valley Bank is a community-oriented financial institution dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Teller.

As a Teller at Mountain Valley Bank, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This entry-level position is responsible for processing routine transactions, providing excellent customer service, and promoting our products and services.

1. Customer Service: Greet and professionally assist customers with their banking needs.

2. Transaction Processing: Process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.

3. Product Sales: Introduce customers to products & services, cross-selling when appropriate.

4. Balancing: Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.

5. Other duties as assigned.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Customer service experience preferred banking experience a plus.

3. Basic math skills and attention to detail.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
