Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Teller to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face of our credit union, delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently processing financial transactions. Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, debits & credits, and cash management activities
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Promote financial products and services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities to meet members’ needs
• Detect and prevent potential fraud activities by following established security protocols
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions and ensure compliance with banking regulations
• Support relationship management efforts by engaging members proactively and offering tailored financial solutions
• Opportunity to work in the community on outreach programs

Experience

• Prior experience in banking, retail math, or cash handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
• Knowledge of financial software systems and basic math skills are essential for success in this role
• Familiarity with sales techniques such as upselling and cross-selling is a plus
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in all transactions
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $14.00 - $14.75 per hour
