Responsibilities

• Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments with precision and efficiency
• Manage cash handling duties, ensuring accuracy in debits and credits while maintaining secure cash management practices
• Deliver outstanding member service by actively listening to member needs and offering tailored financial solutions
• Promote and upsell banking products such as savings accounts, loans, and credit services to meet member goals
• Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions and adhering to security protocols
• Maintain detailed records of transactions, cash drawer balances, and member interactions to ensure compliance and accuracy

Experience

• Previous experience in banking, retail math, or financial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong basic math skills including cash handling, cashiering, and retail math techniques
• Familiarity with financial software systems and proficiency in 10-key typing for quick data entry
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships effectively
• Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and security procedures within a banking environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality
