Teller/New Accounts Representative

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, dependable and customer focused Part-Time Teller to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing financial transactions and assisting customers with their banking needs.

Duties

  • Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Identify and report potential fraud or suspicious activity.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service
  • Explain account features, benefits, fees, and disclosures.
  • Assist with account maintenance requests, including address changes, debit card requests, and other service needs.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support branch operations and assist team members as needed.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays as part of the regular work schedule.

Experience

  • Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
  • Banking experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information.
  • Proficiency with computers and standard office equipment.

This position offers the opportunity to develop banking knowledge and develop customer service skills in a professional environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
