Roles and Responsibilities of a Telugu TeacherAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Telugu language, literature, grammar, and composition as per the prescribed syllabus.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Telugu.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
- Explain lessons clearly using age-appropriate teaching methods and examples.
- Encourage correct pronunciation, handwriting, and sentence formation.
- Conduct regular classwork, homework, and practice exercises.
- Prepare students for examinations, unit tests, and assessments.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design question papers, worksheets, and assignments.
- Evaluate answer scripts, projects, and oral assessments fairly.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve language skills.
- Identify slow learners and provide remedial teaching when required.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Ensure active student participation through discussions, recitation, and storytelling.
- Use teaching aids such as charts, poems, stories, and digital tools where applicable.
Co-curricular & Cultural Activities
- Organize and support Telugu-related activities such as:
- Storytelling
- Essay writing
- Elocution and debates
- Poem recitation
- Cultural and literary events
- Promote awareness of Telugu culture, traditions, and values.
- Guide students in preparing for competitions and school programs.
Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, training programs, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary activities.
- Follow school policies, rules, and academic calendars.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
Student Support & Guidance
- Motivate students to appreciate Telugu language and literature.
- Provide moral guidance and encourage respect for language and culture.
- Communicate students’ progress to parents when required.
- Support students’ overall personality development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
