Temp / Seasonal Land Maintenance Worker

Description:

Works under normal supervision in all phases of landscaping.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mowing, weed-eating, fertilizing and watering of Ministry Property.
• Repair and maintenance of fences and roads.
• Tree Trimming.
• Operate light duty equipment.
• Misc. Labor

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

• Landscaping experience desired

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Physical ability to lift 100 pounds
• Ability to safely operate mowers, trimmers, weed-eaters, saws and various hand/power tools.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

Mowers, trimmers, weed-eaters, saws and various hand tools.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to work in all extremes of temperature and weather.
• Must be able to participate in long periods of highly strenuous physical activity.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
• Must be able to pull, push, stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, move or carry equipment.

TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to recognize and diagnose problems and apply appropriate treatments as needed.
• Must be safety conscious at all times.
• Must adapt well to changes in production and time lines.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
• Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
• Must maintain a good attendance record
• Because of the wide range of personal contact with ministry leaders within and outside the organization, this position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with people of all cultures
