DOCS Dermatology Group is a multi-state network of dermatology practices dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across our clinical brands. Our small, in-house marketing team supports both patient-facing practices and our parent MSO brand, driving creative and digital initiatives that strengthen brand consistency and engagement across all channels.
Position Overview
We are seeking an Interim Digital and Creative Project lead to steer the ship while our full-time Creative Director is on leave. This hands-on role will focus on taking several significant projects over the finish line and be responsible for day-to-day execution of major website launches, a new content strategy, SEO optimization, and creative production across digital and print channels.
The Interim Digital and Creative Project Lead will work closely with the Marketing Director, CRM Director, Chief Marketing Officer, in house Web developer and a network of contract and agency partners in copywriting, UX/web design, and SEO to ensure consistent brand execution and drive measurable impact for patients, providers, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities & Major Initiatives:
- Corporate Brand Site Rollout – DOCS Dermatology Group
- Lead the final stages of the corporate brand website rollout, collaborating with copywriter, UX/web designer, and web developer.
- Execute content and imagery loading, review and approve content, and provide actionable design feedback.
- Ensure timely, accurate delivery while maintaining brand consistency.
- Ohio Brand Site Rollout – DOCS Dermatology
- Support and lead the final stages of consolidation of eight Ohio practice sites into a single branded website.
- Execute content updates, ensure proper redirects, and implement SEO optimization.
- Ensure full integration of the new online scheduling system.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to maintain a consistent, seamless patient experience.
- EHR Launch Support & Digital Experience Optimization
- Partner with web developers and operations teams to optimize the digital patient experience during the launch of new communications features connected to our HER.
- Execute and review digital updates to ensure all DOCS and 20+ affiliate sites are fully integrated and optimized for patient scheduling and engagement.
- Partner Practice Website Transition
- Lead the final stages of a transition of a new partner practice website onto DOCS’ affiliate template.
- Execute content strategy, condense and optimize content, implement SEO best practices, and load content and imagery.
- Coordinate internal and external team support to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Brand & Marketing Alignment Across Ohio Rollup
- Provide guidance and actually execute and design direction on signage, marketing collateral, digital experiences, and other brand assets to ensure clarity and consistency across all Ohio practices.
- Minimize internal and external confusion during the brand consolidation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize all DOCS practice websites, ensuring content accuracy, functionality, and SEO best practices.
- Oversee and manage all vendor work, including contract copywriters, UX/web designers, web developers, and SEO agencies, ensuring deliverables are on-brand, accurate, and aligned with project timelines.
- Lead and execute creative projects across print and digital channels—marketing collateral, advertising, signage, and other visual assets—to support branding, patient engagement, and growth initiatives.
- Drive the creative integration of newly acquired practices (as needed), including website transitions, brand alignment, and patient communications, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and internal teams.
- Own website and digital channels for provider onboarding and offboarding, ensuring that each provider’s web presence is accurate, consistent, and reflects current availability and practice affiliation.
- Support ad hoc website, SEO, and creative initiatives as needed, balancing tactical execution with vendor management to ensure high-quality delivery across all digital channels.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in creative direction, marketing, or digital strategy, ideally in healthcare or multi-location organizations.
- Hands-on experience with design, content strategy, web design/UX, and SEO execution.
- Strong project and vendor management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple high-impact initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to translate strategy into actionable creative deliverables.
- Own website and digital channels for provider onboarding and offboarding, ensuring that each provider’s web presence is accurate, consistent, and reflects current availability and practice affiliation.
Role Details:
- Location: Remote, with preference for candidates living in Eastern or Central timezones
- Start Date: Negotiable; targeting Feb 1 to allow overlap with current director for training
- End Date: May 31, 2026
- Duration: 12-16 weeks
- Hours: Full-time; must be available during business hours M-F
- Compensation: This is a 1099 position
