Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Temporary Dentist to join our Pediatric Dental Office team for the month of January. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional dental care to young patients in a fast-paced, supportive environment. As a Temporary Dentist, you will deliver comprehensive dental services, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Duties

  • Perform thorough dental examinations and assessments tailored to pediatric patients, utilizing detailed medical and dental histories.
  • Deliver a wide range of dental treatments including dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, pulp/ssc's, and other procedures specific to children’s oral health needs.
  • Utilize advanced dental software such as Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient care efficiency and comfort.
  • Educate patients and guardians on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies tailored for pediatrics.

Skills

  • Proficiency in pediatric dentistry techniques and familiarity with dental terminology relevant to children’s oral health.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging relevant to dental procedures.
  • Experience with dental office management software such as Dentrix is highly preferred.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs quickly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic setting.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations for safeguarding patient records and confidentiality.
