Temporary Full-Time Newborn Nanny Garden City

A wonderful family in Garden City is seeking an experienced temporary full-time newborn nanny to care exclusively for their newborn while mom returns to work. This position is expected to continue through December and is ideal for a nanny, newborn care specialist, or baby nurse looking for a rewarding temporary role.

The family's older child attends daycare full-time, so the primary focus will be the newborn. On the rare occasion that daycare is closed, the nanny may assist with the older child as well.

Responsibilities:
✔️ Full care for the newborn throughout the day
✔️ Bottles, diapering, naps, soothing, and maintaining routines
✔️ Age-appropriate developmental engagement
✔️ Sterilizing bottles and maintaining baby feeding supplies
✔️ Baby laundry and light nursery organization
✔️ Light child-related tidying
✔️ Occasional care for the older sibling if home from daycare

✨ Requirements:
✔️ Extensive newborn experience required
✔️ Baby Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist certification strongly preferred
✔️ CPR certified preferred
✔️ Calm, nurturing, and dependable personality
✔️ Excellent understanding of newborn routines and development
✔️ Reliable and professional
✔️ Driving is not required , but reliable transportation to and from work is important

Additional Details:
✔️ Position is 100% temporary and is not expected to continue beyond December
✔️ Family has additional support available if needed, but would love to find the right nanny for this important stage
✔️ Older sibling is in daycare during the day, making this primarily a one-child newborn position
✔️ No regular driving of the children is required
