Temporary Front Desk Receptionist
Employment Period: August 17, 2026 – September 27, 2026
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday and Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Compensation:
- Rate of pay is based on experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
- Experience with Practice Fusion electronic health records (EHR) preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and HIPAA regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Job Duties:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
- Check patients in and out of the office.
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information.
- Collect copayments and process payments.
- Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with filing, scanning, faxing, and other administrative duties.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain an organized and professional front desk environment.
Position Status: Temporary employment to provide front desk coverage from August 17, 2026, through September 27, 2026.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
