Temporary Orthodontist (12–18 Month Opportunity) – 1–2 Days per Week

Are you an experienced Orthodontist looking for a flexible, well-supported opportunity where you can focus on patient care and clinical excellence?

We are seeking a Temporary Orthodontist to help us successfully complete existing cases of both clear aligner therapy and traditional orthodontics over the next 12–18 months.

This is an ideal opportunity for a doctor who enjoys seeing cases through to completion, values teamwork, and appreciates flexibility in their schedule.

Schedule Flexibility

  • 1–2 days per week
  • Your choice of Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays
  • 12–18 month commitment to ensure continuity of care for current patients

What We Offer

  • $1,800–$2,000 per day
  • Established patient base with active aligner and fixed orthodontic cases
  • Support from 1–2 experienced Dental Assistants

  • CBCT imaging
  • Organized systems and a collaborative team environment

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive orthodontic evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Perform orthodontic procedures including bracket placement, adjustments, and removal with precision and care.
  • Collaborate closely with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on orthodontic procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to foster understanding and cooperation.
  • Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment tracking.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and safety standards during all clinical procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid state dental license with specialty certification in orthodontics.
  • Proven experience in orthodontics within a dental clinic or office setting.
  • Proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical imaging techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to orthodontic treatment planning.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per day
