🧭 About the Role
We are seeking a Tender & Business Development Manager
to join our growing team in Istanbul. This role is responsible for managing
both national and international tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and contract processes
, directly collaborating with senior management, finance, and design teams. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, coordinating submissions, and ensuring that every proposal reflects SP Architects’ design quality, technical capability, and strategic vision.
🎯 Responsibilities
Tender & Proposal Management
-
Research, monitor, and evaluate
public and private tender opportunities
within Türkiye and abroad.

Review tender documents (RFP, RFQ, ToR, Specifications) and prepare executive summaries for management review.

Coordinate the preparation of technical and financial proposals with architecture, engineering, finance teams and consulting partners.

Develop and maintain standard tender templates, project sheets, team CVs, and company credentials.

Manage
timeline planning, submission checklists, and approval workflows
to ensure on-time delivery.

Track tender results, feedback, and lessons learned for future improvement.
Business Development & Partnerships

Support management in
identifying new markets, clients, and strategic partnerships
.

Draft and review
MoUs, NDAs, and collaboration agreements
with consultants and local partners.

Coordinate prequalification files, institutional registrations, and company documentation updates.

Assist in preparing materials for
exhibitions, conferences, and business meetings
.
Finance & Contract Coordination
-
Work closely with the
Finance Department
to ensure pricing, tax, and cost structures align with company standards.

Support
contract negotiation
processes with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Conduct risk assessments on tender terms (payment, penalties, guarantees, liabilities, etc.).

Prepare periodic reports on tender performance and pipeline for management.
Documentation & Systems
-
Maintain a
CRM or tender tracking database
to manage opportunities, contacts, and submission records.

Ensure proper archiving of all proposal materials and contractual documents.
💼 Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Engineering, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related discipline
-
Minimum 2 years
of professional experience in tender management, business development, or contracts administration within architecture, construction, or consulting sectors

Excellent
command of English and Turkish
(both written and spoken)

Strong coordination skills with ability to work across
design, finance, and management teams

Familiarity with FIDIC contracts
, procurement procedures, and public tender systems (EKAP, e-tender platforms, etc.)

Proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
and Adobe Acrobat / InDesign
-
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
-
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple processes simultaneously
