Tender Engineer

Overview
Cost & Contracts Engineer – Earthwork (Excavation, Backfilling & Pipeline Works)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quantity take-offs (Quantity Surveying) for all excavation, backfilling, grading, and pipeline works.
• Develop technical and financial proposals in line with project specifications and drawings.
• Review tender documents and analyze contractual requirements.
• Prepare and price invoice of Quantities (BOQ) accurately according to market rates and engineering standards.
• Conduct cost analysis, including direct and indirect costs.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and related project correspondence.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to align pricing with material and resource requirements.
• Evaluate and prepare Variation Orders (VOs) with proper financial and technical assessment.
• Support project management in negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
• Generate periodic cost reports, tender evaluations, and financial forecasts for projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 13 years’ experience in cost estimation and contract administration for earthworks , pipeline projects and etc.,,,
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel; knowledge of Candy, CCS, or Primavera is a plus.
• Solid background in cost estimation and financial analysis.
• Good awareness of construction market rates and suppliers.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
