Tendering & Bidding Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tendering & Bidding Engineer with strong expertise in civil and MEP project tendering, cost estimation, and E-tendering processes within Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have solid engineering knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of project tender submissions from initial review to final proposal.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications for civil and MEP projects.
• Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements.
• Manage the full tendering cycle, including quantity take-off, cost estimation, pricing, and proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure accuracy in bids.
• Handle E-tendering platforms, including ETIMAD, and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments, value engineering, and cost comparisons to support competitive bidding.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, suppliers, and industry standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Council of Engineers and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia, specifically in tendering and bidding for civil and MEP projects.
• Proven experience with E-tendering systems, particularly ETIMAD.
• Strong background in estimation, costing, and quantity take-off for construction projects.
• Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and technical document preparation skills.
