Tendering Engineer

Tender Engineer in CHEC's UAE branch in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, must be fluent English.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the Bid Manager in tender-related activities, including:

1) Analyzing project information upon receipt of tender documents;

2) Entering and maintaining various types of information in the company’s online system;

3) Conducting background checks on clients and third-party companies;

4) Conducting background checks on suppliers, design consultant, subcontractors；

5) Preparing the EOI and PQQ documents for potential projects;

6) Drafting contracts, such as design service agreement, subcontracting agreements;

7) Completing contract review processes and performing compliance checks for clients and third-party companies;

8) Collaborating with tender team to prepare tender documents and follow up on quotation requests;

9) Working with tender team to compare and analyze quotations and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors;

10) Assisting the Bid Manager in cost analysis and planning;

11) Supporting the Bid Manager in post-submission activities, such as preparing clarification reports and attending post-tender meetings;

12) Preparing, printing, binding, and submitting tender documents;

13) Managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, and updating and optimizing the supplier database;

14) Coordinating with Financial Dept to issue bid bond;

15) Initiate tender expense reimbursement from Financial Dept;

16) Performing other assigned tasks.

Job Qualifications:

1. Education & Major: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2. Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering projects or 2 years of experience in tender/bid preparation.

3. Personal Attributes & Abilities: Hardworking, team-oriented, and willing to be based in UAE.

4. Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Chinese is a distinct advantage.

5. Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
