Tendering Engineer / Estimation Engineer (Electrical)

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer specializing in Tendering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both site execution and tender estimation within the oil and gas sector, with a proven track record of success in preparing comprehensive and competitive bids.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Tendering

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and scope of work for electrical systems in oilfield projects.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads, for tender submissions.
• Review technical requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project management, procurement, and engineering teams to gather necessary information for tender preparation.
• Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with tender projects.
• Develop technical proposals and support commercial negotiations.
• Leverage extensive site execution experience to inform realistic and competitive estimations.
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timely submission of all tender documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on technical and commercial aspects related to tenders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 13 to 16 years of overall professional experience.
• This includes 8 to 10 years of hands-on site execution experience.
• A minimum of 5 to 6 years of dedicated experience in estimation and tendering.
• Must have prior experience working with oilfield companies, preferably with on-site exposure.
• Proven experience in the oil and gas industry is essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and installation practices in industrial and oilfield environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant tendering software and estimation tools is a plus.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: AED 18,000 to AED 21,000 per month (Full Package).
