Tent Installer, Driver & Laborer for Rental Store - MUST BE 18+

Required Skills:

-Must be over 18 and have a valid Driver's license.

-Must pass DOT health exam.

-Must pass a drug test and remain drug free during employment.

-Need to be able to lift at least 70 pounds.

-Must possess a full range of motion and dexterity.

-Must be able to work every other weekend.

-Must have semi-clean driving record. Subject to approval and guidelines of our Auto Insurer.

Helpful Skills or Should be Willing to Learn:

-Experience driving trucks with trailers.

-Experience operating equipment and forklifts.

-Friendly personable attitude.

Job Description:

Looking for someone responsible and outgoing to fill an open position in a busy fast paced rental store renting many types of equipment, tents, tables and chairs. Candidates should be self-motivated and willing to learn the trade. Hours vary, but typically are 28 - 45 per week with alternating weekend hours. Position is part-time while training and candidates can transition into Full-Time Year round employment after training. Base wage is increased for canidates 21 and older after training.

Job Duties:

Installing and Removing tents at customer job sites and delivering and picking up party rental items (tables, chairs, bounce houses, etc.) at customer's party locations.

Supervision of other employees aiding you in installing and removing tents or delivering and picking up items.

Driving and Delivering Equipment (bobcats, tractors, tables and chairs) on trailers with loads exceeding 10,000#.

Loading and Unloading Equipment for Customers at our Shop.

Communicating with customers to collect payments, deliver orders, explain and demonstrate operation of rental equipment.

Operating a Forklift.

Cleaning, Inspecting and Maintaining all types rental Equipment.

Helping with cleaning and property upkeep (i.e. cleaning, mowing, snow plowing, picking up etc.)

Performing all job duties in a safe and professional manner.

Possible occasional use of computer for obtaining orders and ringing up customers.

Training on equipment operation, tent installation and computer use will be provided.
