What You'll Do

NorthEast Tent and Event Rentals is in the business of creating event space . We build temporary structures that can be utilized for anything, from the most elegant wedding to private events, graduations, concerts and more. Working at NorthEast you will learn to become a multi-tool individual that can troubleshoot and problem solve anything in a fast-paced environment, while continually providing the best customer experience. We are looking for people with any construction experience that want to take their career to the Next Level.

About the position:

As Tent Installation & Event Crew, you will work on the setup and breakdown of tent and event rental items. This includes (but is not limited to) tents, tables, chairs, dance floor, stage, and lighting. Some days will require longer hours. Occasional weekend availability is a must, especially during the busier season between May through October.

Job requirements:

Tenting experience is very desirable, but we are willing to train the right kind of person with some construction or landscaping experience, as these trades can easily translate to learning tent installation.

Ability to move quickly, repeatedly carry over 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods is a MUST.

Basic math skills.

Experience driving a box truck (up to 16') is preferred, but we can train you. A clean driving record is a MUST.

Current DOT medical card, or ability to obtain one that we will pay for.

Some computer skills a plus.

Strong people and communication skills. We work with high-end customers in some of the most prestigious locations and how we present in person and on the phone is very important.

Willingness and flexibility to help out where needed is paramount. You will be trained in ALL aspects of the tent and event rental industry in hopes that you will be able provide support in any area that needs it.

Be on time, have a good attitude. You will be a leader and expected to set an example.

Strong communication skills, focused, and well-organized are essential.

Ability to work on weekends as needed.
