About the Role:
The Terminal Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of transportation within the organization, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods and services. This position is responsible for managing both local and regional trucking operations, coordinating activities with warehouse management and personnel, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations to support business objectives. The manager will lead a team of transportation professionals (drivers, dispatch and shop) fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. They will analyze operational data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. The Terminal Manager will provide excellent customer service and be the main contact for R.O. Wetz clients. Ultimately, this role ensures that transportation operations align with strategic goals, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
