Terminal Manager - Chemical Distribution

Cone Solvents, LLC is seeking a full-time Terminal Manager who will manage our bulk industrial grade chemical and solvent distribution terminal in Louisville, KY. This is a hazardous materials environment. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday home nightly, but occasional weekend work may be required. Hours will vary depending on the work load. Job Duties

• Hiring and management of all employees at the Louisville facility
• Initial training and orientation of all new employees
• Management of equipment
• Management of facility and equipment maintenance schedules
• Management of monthly and annual budgets
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and periodic inspections of facility and equipment
• Management of incoming and outgoing product deliveries
• Monthly review and posting of Safety Data Sheets
• Respond timely to any safety or environmental concerns raised by customers
• Collaboration with the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator on all safety or environmental compliance initiatives
• Maintenance of grounds and facility
• Enforcement of all current company policies and procedures
• Establishment of a safe and productive work environment for employees

Job Requirements

• 2+ years Management experience required.
• 2+ years of similar managerial experience in chemical/hazardous bulk materials distribution required.
• Proven track record of leading and improving operational efficiency in a safety-critical environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations for handling and transporting hazardous materials.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and ensure clear communication with all shareholders.
• Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
• Lifting requirements limited to 75 lbs. in the form of samples, supplies, etc.
• Hand manipulation is required for operating computers and various equipment, simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Right and/or left hand utilized.
• Occasional need for reaching and/or pulling above the shoulders for supplies, as well as below the shoulders for same.
• Must be willing and able to travel to other locations for short periods of time such as client sites of operation.
• Computer proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
