GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
At Stancil Services, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and operational excellence across every project. The Territory Field Manager – Plumbing plays a key leadership role in managing day-to-day field operations across multiple plumbing phases — slab, rough, trim, and warranty.
This position oversees labor, materials, quality, and customer satisfaction within assigned territories to ensure plumbing projects are completed on time, on budget, and in alignment with company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing hands-on field management with strategic oversight.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, coach, and supervise foremen and field labor.

Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Conduct performance feedback and corrective coaching as needed.

Oversees assistant territory field manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Manage daily field operations
-
All plumbing phases including slab, rough, trim, and warranty.

Communicate relevant field information to labor teams, leadership, and internal departments.

Coordinate daily labor assignments, ensuring adherence to project timelines and efficiency standards.

Effectively manage labor and materials at the job level to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, builders, and Stancil team members.

Work collaboratively with the Area Manager to oversee crew activities and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Communicate directly with customers regarding field progress, scheduling, and service needs.
-
Meet customer demands and production goals while upholding Stancil’s quality standards.

Lead crews toward achieving company-defined production rates and operational efficiency targets.

Manage crew schedules and assignments, including maintaining the crew board, rotating team members, and managing overtime as needed.

Partner with the Scheduling Department to allocate work efficiently based on skill sets and project requirements.

Train, mentor, and support field personnel to promote a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Own inspection performance, implement quality control measures, and use data to drive field efficiency.

Monitor materials usage, drive cost efficiency, and reduce waste across assigned projects.

Collaborate with the Operational Support Specialist (OSS) to manage costs, leverage EPO opportunities, and improve profitability.

Support the implementation of new technologies, processes, and systems that enhance field operations.

Participate in fleet management and ensure driver eligibility compliance.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent (GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, or foreign equivalent).

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bolt.

Fluent in Spanish preferred but not required.
-
Valid driver’s license for 3+ years and insurable under company insurance policy.
-
Minimum of 3 years of new residential plumbing experience. North Carolina Plumbing License preferred but not required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
- Work performed primarily outdoors on active construction sites.

Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to handle tools and materials.

Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.

May drive or ride in a company vehicle for extended periods (up to 2+ hours depending on job location).

Occasionally required to lift or carry heavy materials (up to 50+ pounds).

Must be able to climb stairs and navigate uneven surfaces on job sites.

Exposure to varying weather conditions including extreme heat (above 90°F), cold (below 32°F), and precipitation.

Potential exposure to chemicals and hazardous equipment; must follow all safety guidelines.
