Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and market share objectives for fertilizers and related agri-inputs in the assigned territory
- Develop and manage relationships with agri-dealers, distributors, and key retailers
- Conduct farmer meetings, field demos, and promotional campaigns to build product awareness
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline
- Provide technical support and product training to channel partners and farmers
- Regular reporting on sales performance, territory insights, and forecasting
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or related field (MBA/PG in Agri Marketing is a plus)
- 3–5 years of experience in fertilizer/agri-input sales and territory management
- Strong knowledge of local agri markets, cropping patterns, and customer behavior
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Proficiency in regional language(s) is an advantage.
