Territory Manager - Fertilizer sales & Marketing

India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets and market share objectives for fertilizers and related agri-inputs in the assigned territory
  • Develop and manage relationships with agri-dealers, distributors, and key retailers
  • Conduct farmer meetings, field demos, and promotional campaigns to build product awareness
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline
  • Provide technical support and product training to channel partners and farmers
  • Regular reporting on sales performance, territory insights, and forecasting
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or related field (MBA/PG in Agri Marketing is a plus)
  • 3–5 years of experience in fertilizer/agri-input sales and territory management
  • Strong knowledge of local agri markets, cropping patterns, and customer behavior
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
  • Proficiency in regional language(s) is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
