Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to expand our presence in the Chicago, IL Territory. This role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with specialty toy stores, game shops, and independent retailers. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, providing product education, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Growth: Build and maintain relationships with existing accounts while identifying and acquiring new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Sales & Business Development: Promote and sell Blue Orange Games’ product line, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Product Education & Support: Conduct in-store training sessions, game demos, and provide merchandising support to help retailers maximize sales.
  • Event & Trade Show Representation: Attend regional trade shows, in-store events, and industry gatherings to showcase our games and strengthen relationships.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Travel & Territory Coverage: Regularly visit stores across the Chicago, IL area, with travel to nearby states or national trade shows as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the toy, game, or specialty retail industry.
  • Passion for board games and knowledge of the specialty toy and game market is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet sales goals.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $66,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
