Territory Sales Manager (General Trade)

To generate business along with the right channels and healthy team work to achieve the set goals and sales target for the general trade in the respective territory.


Responsibilities

  • Generating secondary sales through best in shop visibility and availability.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationship in the trade and giving value addition to the customer and consumer.
  • Ensuring increased distribution coverage and merchandising.
  • Ensuring proper coverage of the outlets in the area assigned to the distributor.
  • Managing distributors’ salesmen.
  • Ensuring FIFO in distributors’ warehouse and outlets.
  • To understand the salience of the outlets for the products.
  • To track high volume and image driven outlets.
  • Negotiating with the customers and intervening in the operational issues.
  • Building relationships with clients and customers.
  • Registering and following-up consumer complaints.
  • To execute activities related to sales budget and forecasting.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree | PGDM/MBA in Marketing or Sales Management.
  • 2- 5 years of sales experience preferably in Food or Beverage industry
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software
  • Ability to travel in order to do business
