About the Role

Principles Recovery Center is adding a Territory Sales Representative to grow our South Florida provider network and drive referral volume. Three days a week in the office — calls, pipeline, follow-up. Two days in the field with physicians, discharge teams, detox programs, and therapists. Consultative sales. Consistent presence. What You'll Do

  • Work a structured weekly rhythm: 3 days in-office running outbound call volume, pipeline management, and account follow-up; 2 days in the field on provider visits across your assigned South Florida territory
  • Build and maintain a consistent call cycle with hospitals, emergency departments, detox facilities, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, outpatient therapists, and community mental health providers
  • Conduct consultative meetings with clinical decision-makers — educate them on PRC's levels of care, patient criteria, and how to make a referral
  • Track all activity in the CRM — every call, every visit, every follow-up — same day, every time
  • Build monthly territory plans and contribute to quarterly sales strategy with the Director of Business Development
  • Represent PRC at professional events, hospital grand rounds, health fairs, and provider networking functions
  • Collaborate with Admissions to support smooth intake handoffs and monitor referral-to-admission conversion
  • Surface competitive intelligence and market shifts across the South Florida behavioral health landscape

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in a territory-based sales or account management role — healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or home health backgrounds are a direct fit
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a provider pipeline, maintain a call cycle, and close on referral commitments
  • Comfortable and credible in clinical settings — you can sit across from a hospitalist or a discharge planner and have a real conversation
  • CRM-disciplined — you log everything, you follow up, your data is clean
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Self-directed with the time management to operate across a hybrid office/field schedule without hand-holding
  • Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass Level 2 background screening
  • Genuine connection to the SUD and co-occurring treatment space — you understand the stakes
