COMPANY OVERVIEW
Columbia Dimensional Stone & Aldridge Stone Ltd. are privately owned Canadian companies producing natural stone veneer and landscape stone sourced from our quarries in British Columbia.

As we expand into the U.S. market, we are looking for a driven individual to help establish and grow our presence on the ground.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a driven, self-motivated sales professional to develop and grow our presence in the Pacific Northwest. As our first dedicated U.S. representative, you will play a key role in building the territory from the ground up.

This is a contractor-based role focused on identifying opportunities, establishing relationships, and generating sales with dealers, distributors, contractors, and industry professionals.

This is not a passive role — we're looking for someone to take initiative, actively pursue opportunities, and convert them into real business.

TERRITORY

Primary focus is within Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. Additional opportunities may include Northern California and other surrounding regions.

Ideally based within the region, with proximity to key construction and building supply markets (e.g., Spokane or the greater Seattle area). Candidates in nearby areas with strong access to the territory will also be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and grow the U.S. territory through proactive outreach and relationship building
  • Identify and pursue opportunities with dealers, distributors, contractors, and industry professionals to build and maintain a pipeline of active opportunities
  • Maintain visibility into activity and pipeline through a shared tracking system
  • Gather market insights on pricing, competition, and demand

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly self-motivated, proactive, and brings energy and follow-through
  • Is comfortable working independently and building a territory from scratch
  • Has strong sales instincts and a results-driven mindset
  • Has experience in B2B and/or outside sales environments

Strong assets:

  • Experience in construction, building materials, masonry, or architectural products
  • Existing relationships within the building materials or construction industry
  • Familiarity with dealer/distributor sales channels

COMPENSATION

This is a contractor role with a base retainer plus commission structure, designed to support early-stage territory development while rewarding performance.

The base retainer ranges from $2,000–$4,000 USD per month, depending on experience, industry knowledge, and existing relationships. Commission ranges from 3–8%, depending on the type of sale and margin structure.

Travel within the territory will be required, and reasonable, pre-approved travel expenses will be covered or reimbursed.
