Test and Repair Engineer

Celsius Hire Ltd is a UK leader in Cooling and Heating equipment hire for process and HVAC applications. Due to our continued company growth and team expansion, we now have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Test and Repair Engineer at our Northern depot in Manchester. We are looking to recruit an additional Test and Repair Engineer to further strengthen our engineering team and support increasing customer demand across the UK.

As a Test and Repair Engineer, you’ll work closely with our warehouse team who play a key role in helping deliver high levels of service and equipment to our customers all over the UK. This full-time position is ideal for someone with prior experience in a similar role, or a strong understanding of electrical equipment testing.

Responsibilities:

· Testing Chillers (F-Gas)

· Testing Boilers training can be provided

· Fault-finding equipment from returned hire contracts

· PAT testing equipment

· Cleaning equipment

· Recording and reporting recurring issues to line manager

· Stock taking

· General warehouse and yard housekeeping

Experience:

· F-Gas qualified

· Knowledge of PAT testing procedures and safety regulations.

· Ability to identify and diagnose faults efficiently.

· Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks.

· Good communication and reporting skills.

· Basic IT skills for logging and reporting.

Schedule:

FULL TIME 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday (overtime when required)

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
