Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with strong expertise in manual testing, SDLC/STLC processes, and web/mobile validation. The ideal candidate will ensure quality, reliability, and performance across multiple digital platforms.

Core Testing Skills:

• Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and software testing life cycles.
• Proficient in requirement analysis, test design, and writing detailed test cases.
• Experienced in exploratory and session-based testing.
• Skilled in test planning, scheduling, and effort estimation.
• Sound knowledge of defect management, bug life cycle, and root cause analysis.

Technical / Domain Knowledge:

• Expertise in web and mobile testing, including responsive UI/UX validation across browsers and devices.
• Hands-on API testing experience using tools like Postman or Swagger with JSON/XML validation.
• Proficiency in database and SQL for backend and data verification.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts – HTTP/HTTPS, cookies, caching, and request-response headers.
• Ability to grasp complex business logic quickly across domains.

Tools & Utilities:

• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
• Familiar with browser developer tools, Charles, or Fiddler for network analysis.

Quality & Compliance:

• Awareness of security and privacy best practices.
• Understanding of performance testing fundamentals and spotting bottlenecks.

Soft Skills & Mindset:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking to identify edge cases and potential failures.
• Excellent communication and documentation for clear bug reports and test cases.
• Collaborative attitude towards developers, product owners, and automation teams.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to testing and quality assurance.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
