Business Analyst – Finastra – LoanIQ

Location: Bangalore / Trivandrum

Seeking a highly experienced Finastra – Fusion Loan IQ Specialist to support implementation, customization, and testing of the Fusion Loan IQ system, particularly version 7.7.X.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical and functional expertise in the Loan IQ platform, including SDK development, interface debugging, and financial product configuration for syndicated and bilateral lending operations.

Experience: 7-10 Years

Should be willing to travel onsite (One of the Middle East countries)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support Loan IQ application implementations and interface developments.


• Develop and maintain SDK components: inquiry scripts, event management, scripted APIs, scripted batches, etc.


• Analyse and debug both interface and functional issues within the Loan IQ ecosystem.


• Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and vendor support for system enhancements and integration.


• Configure and validate end-to-end loan processes, including payments, deal structures, GL entries, and fee management.


• Ensure integration with core banking systems and support SIT/UAT cycles.


• Review and translate business requirements (BRS) into technical specifications and test cases.


• Support regression and performance testing for upgrades and patch implementations.


• Maintain thorough documentation of system behavior, test cases, and functional changes.


• Monitor and manage batch processing, nightly jobs, and accounting schedules.


• Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with internal IT policies and banking regulations.

Required Technical Expertise:

• SDK Development (inquiry scripts, scripted APIs, event mgmt, batch jobs) Loan IQ Framework Data Model Debugging Interface and Functional Issues


• Loan Processing, Accounting, Accruals, Nightly Batches Core Java / J2EE, XML, REST APIs Oracle (packages, stored procedures)

Domain / Functional Expertise:

• Loan IQ Data Dictionary (7.7.X)


• RFR functionality Loan IQ


• MX Payments GL Entries – Batch Online Accounting


• Functional configuration and end-to-end flows for syndicated and bilateral deal
