Test Engineer(Consultant)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team as a Consultant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through manual and automated testing, bug tracking, and close collaboration with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team to understand requirements.

2. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.

3. Create and maintain testing documentation and test reports.

4. Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

5. Run automation pipelines and improve automation processes.

6. Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

7. Re-test defects and ensure issue closure.

8. Validate API responses, error codes, and integration logic.

9. Conduct various testing types like Functional Testing, Regression Testing, IntegrationTesting, Performance/Load Testing, Security Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Qualification:

1. B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, or PG in Computer Science or related fields with (First Division or a minimum of 60% aggregate).

2. Certified with Software Test Engineer (CSTE), Selenium,Test Automation Engineer (CTAE).

3. Agile Certifications: CSM, SAFe Agile, Performance Testing Certifications: LoadRunner, JMeter.

4. Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured), performance testing (JMeter or LoadRunner).

Required Skills:

1. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development.

2. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

3. Experience using Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.

4. Understanding of QA best practices and continuous testing.
