"Job Description: Test Lead – Finacle 11.x (Core Retail & Payments) Location: UAE (Onsite) Industry: Banking / FinTech Reporting to: Test Manager / Project Delivery Head Experience: 10+ Years Role Objective As a Test Lead for the Finacle 11.x Implementation, you will be the functional gatekeeper for the Retail Banking and Payments modules. You will lead the day-to-day testing operations, ensuring that the CASA (Current Account Savings Account), TD (Term Deposits), and International Payment tracks are delivered with zero critical defects. This role requires a deep technical understanding of Finacle’s 11.x schema and the specific regulatory landscape of the GCC. Key Responsibilities 1. Functional Subject Matter Expertise • Lead the validation of Finacle 11.x Core Retail modules, specifically focusing on the end-to-end lifecycle of CASA and TD accounts (Opening, Servicing, Interest Accruals, and Maturity). • Oversee the testing of Multi-currency accounting and Foreign Currency (FCY) positioning within the retail ledger. • Ensure all localized UAE/GCC requirements—such as IBAN validation, Central Bank reporting, and local tax/VAT configurations—are accurately tested. 2. Payments & SWIFT Lead • Direct the testing of International Funds Transfers, ensuring seamless integration between Finacle and the SWIFT application. • Validate SWIFT ISO 20022 message mapping (MT to MX) and ensure correct routing for cross-border transactions. • Manage complex scenarios involving correspondent banking, FX rate fetching, and payment status tracking (GPI). 3. Test Execution & Governance • Draft detailed, scenario-based Test Cases from BRDs and FSDs for Sprint-based or Waterfall delivery. • Manage the Defect Triage process, working closely with developers and BAs to resolve blockers impacting the critical path. • Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase by acting as a bridge between the technical team and the Bank’s business users.
