Testing & Commissioning Engineer (MEP)

Job Summary

Mobco Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer (MEP) to join the Diriyah Project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing and commissioning activities for all MEP systems to ensure successful project delivery and handover.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing and commissioning Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, BMS, and ELV systems on large-scale hospitality, luxury, mixed-use, and high-rise projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute all testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems
• Prepare commissioning procedures, method statements, checklists, and testing protocols
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure smooth commissioning operations
• Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and verify system readiness before testing
• Supervise and witness testing of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, BMS, and ELV systems
• Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable codes and standards
• Identify system deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders
• Perform troubleshooting and technical assessments to resolve commissioning issues
• Prepare commissioning reports, testing records, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and handover packages
• Coordinate integrated system testing and final acceptance procedures with consultants and clients
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, health and safety requirements, and commissioning schedules
• Support project close-out activities, client training sessions, and final project handover

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
• Professional certifications related to Testing & Commissioning are highly desirable .

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in MEP Testing & Commissioning
• Proven experience in luxury hospitality, hotels, mixed-use developments, and high-rise building projects.
• Previous experience on major projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
• Strong understanding of international commissioning standards and project handover requirements.
• Experience working with consultants, clients, and international project teams.
