Job Overview;

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Manager specializing in Industrial Refrigeration Systems to lead and oversee the final phases of our engineering projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of hands-on and managerial experience in testing, balancing, pre-commissioning, and final handover of large-scale industrial refrigeration plants (including Ammonia/NH3, CO2 cascade, and large Freon systems). You will ensure all systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local KSA regulations.

Proven track record of successfully commissioning Industrial Refrigeration Plants (e.g., massive cold storage facilities, food processing plants, or slaughterhouses).

Deep technical familiarity with major refrigeration brands (e.g., Sabroe, York, Frick, Mycom, GEA, or Daikin)

Key Information

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Commissioning Leadership & Execution

• Lead, manage, and execute the complete T&C lifecycle for industrial refrigeration systems, including screw/reciprocating compressors, evaporative condensers, chillers, and PLC-based control panels.
• Develop comprehensive, project-specific T&C methodologies, checklists, and execution plans.
• Supervise pre-commissioning activities such as pipe flushing, pressure testing (pneumatic/hydraulic), vacuum pulling, and refrigerant charging (specifically Ammonia/NH3 or Freon).

2. Technical Compliance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and automation faults during the commissioning phase.
• Verify that control sequences, VFD parameters, and safety interlocks operate exactly according to design intent.
• Ensure all works align with international engineering codes (ASHRAE, IIAR, ASME) and local Saudi civil defense safety standards.

3. Documentation & Client Handover

• Prepare and compile all T&C reports, test sheets, "as-built" documentation, and operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals.
• Lead final client walk-throughs and successfully secure sign-offs and handovers from client representatives or consultants.
• Conduct technical training sessions for the client’s operations and maintenance teams post-handover.

4. Team & Safety Management

• Manage and mentor a dedicated team of commissioning engineers, technicians, and subcontractors on-site.
• Enforce stringent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, particularly regarding hazardous refrigerant handling (NH3 leak protocols, PPE compliance).

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Experience: * Minimum 7 years of dedicated experience in the T&C or engineering execution sector.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of electrical control circuits, PLC logic, and SCADA monitoring systems for refrigeration.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and site-management capabilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic communication skills are a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project tracking software.
