Textile Design Associate

We are looking for a Textile Design Associate to check, balance, and lead textile designs of our women's clothing brand. This role will be responsible for maintaining design quality, conducting market and trend research, coordinating with other designers, and developing commercially successful textile dresses designs—especially embroideries and prints—from concept to final approval. Strong leadership skills and Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator expertise are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, check, and approve all textile, embroidery, and print designs to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand alignment
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify current and upcoming trends in embroideries, prints, colors, and fabrics
• Translate trend insights into clear design directions and briefs for junior designers
• Guide and instruct designers to create trend-driven, commercially viable embroidery and print designs
• Guide and coordinate with junior textile designers; assign tasks and track progress
• Develop textile concepts, colorways, and collections aligned with brand vision and market demand
• Ensure technical correctness including repeats, scale, color separations, embroidery placements, and print readiness
• Make and supervise design corrections and refinements
• Coordinate with merchandising and production teams to develop products from design to sampling
• Maintain design standards, workflows, approvals, and file management systems
• Support sampling and resolve design-related issues during production

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator (mandatory)
• Some experience in textile design, embroidery, and print development
• Understanding of fashion trends, market research, and consumer preferences
• Ability to guide, and motivate junior designers
• Excellent attention to detail and strong decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Women clothing designs
• Knowledge of embroidery techniques, print production, and fabric types
• Experience developing trend-led women clothing designs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs36,000.00 per month
